I sometimes wish I lived in the excitement of a swing state but then I snap out of it and am glad I live in California.
We won't have any affect on Congress but I'm keeping my fingers crossed and excitedly watching the results tonight to see if other parts of the country get their act together!
I voted, dahling, but to no avail. My district and state are hopelessly mired in good ol' boy politics. However, hope springs eternal in my 36C chest and I shall persevere.
I voted, hope we see some good come of it!
I wish I could be happy about Congress, and the fact that in Wisconsin we kept our Dem governor, but I'm too bummed out that our bass ackwards state actually voted yesterday to PUT IN OUR CONSTITUTION an AMENDMENT that not only defines marraige as one man and one woman, but OUTLAWS any kind of "similar civil designation" so that not even civil unions would be legal.
Wisconsin Uber Alles, indeed. That's how it starts, you know.
