I can't think

or write and I'm depressed, holding my breath until next Tuesday. I am hoping, hoping, praying for a change. Please vote, regardless of your political affiliation. Having seen HBO's documentary on the Diebold (and others') voting machines, I am not hopeful that our democracy will survive. But let's all vote, no matter what. It's an obligation, a responsibility. Please vote.

I'll be voting. God, I hope these midterms bring about some serious change. I hate the direction this country has been going.

Hi Big Ass Belle,
I've been reading your blog for a while. I really like your tone, your insights, and your story.

I've become a Big Gal in the past five years. Going from a tolerable size 12 to a really uncomfortable size 16+. I'm fighting menopause and a long-term medication whose side effect is weight gain. I'm inspired by your victory.

Anyway, this voting post moved me so much. Oy, I've become so depressed by the state of things that I was lulled into a passive depression. I wasn't planning on voting. Your post sparked me. Take a look at my entry. Thank you for waking me up!

Yes I saw Hacking Democracy today. I am scared. It's so important that we all vote, but we need to change this whole system of check and balances. It's amazing that we let George steal the White House...and now look at us...its so overwhelming.

I'll be at the polls on Tuesday!
