Oh, bitch about the heat all you want. I can take a cold day like today over a hot, humid, muggy steambath ANY TIME.
I really oughta move back to Washington State. I'd be far less grouchy.
Whenever it gets hot, I always say at least it's not snowing. Northeast update: We are getting lots of lovely, sleet, snow, rain and freezing rain. The temperature is suppose to drop like a rock tonight so tomorrow it should all turn into a nice glare ice. Like I said, I'll take the heat any day.

I said the opposite as I drove back East after four miseable years in L.A. My last day on the road was 9/12/01. I kept my promise.
The four seasons, as distinct if somewhat milder here, are rhythmic and lyrical. They define mortal life. Paradise climates are truly meant for gods.
