deaf betty shakes it off after her bath

I love this dog. Both of them, madly, but this little deaf girl. Oh my.

And Part II, post bath, wherein I continue to speak to the deaf dog. Crazy. I'm like a brand new mom only it's not wearing off.

Nice to know I am not alone in my obsession with my pets. I love my dog to no end. Now I just need to get a video camera...

Thank goodness I don't have a video camera. I would film my dog sleeping if I could. How simply darling your little deaf poochie is.

Lynette, I am also nuts about my cats. Your dog is a gift from God.

Speaking of God, just read post about child abuse. Have a similar story about baby "fried" with an iron. I hated working in peds. I was glad when "my" baby died from his injuries. Abuser was clueless.

I believe we live in a fallen world where evil has been given free reign. Even to the point of killing "in love" birds. We get to choose whom we will serve. Joy can and does abound but will not be permanent whilst we live.

I meant that to sound hopeful. Life is an extra-ordinary gift but if full to the brim with pain. Wonder-full flowers.

Ok, the dog is so cute, but I have to comment on your laugh! One of my favorite things in the world is to hear laughing. It gets me laughing and usually when I start I can't stop. I played the first one twice to hear that great laugh again :) Thanks.

okay now this is getting scary - I posted a photo essay of my little deaf buddy getting a bath last weekend on my blog
http://willyorwonthe.blogspot.com/2007/03/bad-day-at-black-rock-touch-of-whimsy.html
And he's afraid of the camera also - doesn't bark at it but just tries to hide when he sees it coming out. And that sharp bark - its sounds familar cause Reese has the same one.

So here I am 12 years into being owned by him and I'm still taking and posting pictures. Does that tell you something?

I love these and completely relate. As you know from my friday posts. In fact, my Mac does the same thing when he gets a bath.

Betty's an adorable sweetie.
