I love flowers, and those are stunning. Vancouver is awash is cherry trees, daffodils, and rhododendrons right now, and the sun is shining. I like to buy flowers just on a whim, as they're very cheap here, something to do with Vancouver being a 'flower broker' for North America. Your house always looks so warm and inviting, even up to that beautiful quirky dog you have.
Lynette, I keep forgetting your name is not Belle because your Blog title. My apologies.
Flowers are still at least a month away for us up north. Things are just starting to come back to life, but it is exciting to see things quickening, really, it is starting to feel like spring. I will have to go out an cut some forsythia for to force in the house.
Pretty, pretty, pretty.
Oh lilacs are my absolute favorite! They make me ridiculously happy. They mean even more to me in the Pacific Northwest (3rd "winter" here). I can't wait...
Your last post left me without words. Good thoughts to you.
Oh i so love fresh flowers...but cant have them in the house..i have allergies and it drives me insane... so enjoy them..and think of snuffly people like me that cant have then...
Your house looks beautiful! The flowers just add to the look! I love all the pretty colors.
To say I am jealous of those gorgeous flowers is a supreme understatement. Lovely.
Lilacs are one of those fleeting Spring occurrences that I miss about the east coast. That and forsythia bushes. They sell lilacs out here in California, but they generally aren't grown on this part of the coast. I may have to try to buy a bunch just for that amazing scent. Thanks for this!
Isn't this refreshing to see! We're still waiting for more snow up here, so this was exactly what I needed today.
Lilacs are my almost favorite flower. they won't bloom up here till May 1st. I think the best of them is the Katherine Havemeyer. (My favorite flower? Iris.)
