this could be worth watching
My anti-television stance is fairly widely known. This American Life, however, from the magnificent Ira Glass, might be worth watching. Starts March 22 on Showtime. (Now, what the heck is Showtime, and where does it come from?)

I am totally hooked on 'This American Life' podcasts. Try them,dahling, you'll like them. I don't get showtime, but the 1 hour podcasts (which you can download weekly) are divine. A good first one to download (and you can listen to it on your computer if you don't have an ipod) is 'The Super.' I listened to it as I took down my Christmas decorations.
