This 60 Minutes segment on the passage of the Medicare drug bill is revolting and should sicken every American taxpaying citizen, Republican or Democrat. I knew it was an outrage when it passed; this just confirms it.

Thanks so very much for the link to the 60 Minutes piece. I think I've commented to you before how fed up my husband and I are with health care in the U.S. The Medicare "reform" bill is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
How many times have we seen this before, and how mnay more times do we need to see it before we adopt a zero tolerence policy for this wholesale Corporate theft? I have visited and donated to that site Lynette, but I am losing patience. I don't think my tiny little voice will ever be heard over all the sounds of coins and dollars dropping into fat congressional pockets. I am so ready to toss all the fuckers out and start over. While we are at it, I want to get rid of the electoral college as well, and give D.C. residents the vote. Time to stop the bullshit people!
