Congress is right now holding hearings on S.1285, the Fair Elections Now Act. Kos has the details, but most important is an opportunity to take action today by calling your congressperson to find out where s/he stands.

My good senator Durbin is a sponser of this act! I am proud of him. He sent me an e-mail stating his committment to ending DADT, and insuring that LGBT people have the right to openly serve their country. Love him!

Again, would that I had voting congresspeople to call.
