oh, poor thing

The jackass-in-chief is looking a little whipped in this brief post-immigration bill press conference. Not a smirk in sight. Looks tired, grim, old. That makes me inordinately joyful. As it is so crudely put in this part of the world, he looks like someone just pissed in his Post Toasties. At last, a more appropriate demeanor considering all the hell he has brought upon us.

We say, "Who peed in your Wheaties?" up here in the (not so) frozen north. Yeah, that puppy is looking sort of whipped. About time.

Now that I have stopped laughing.. Only because I thought exactly the same thing when I watched the press conference. Personally I think it's the "Dorian Grey" effect. Eventually that much evil has to manifest externally.

Wow, he really did look like he was just about to break down and squirt a few, didn't he? And I'm not saying I didn't enjoy that, but really, I don't see what was so bad about this immigration bill. At least it was an attempt to come up with some real solutions other than the usual "build a giant fence that the brown folks can't climb over" bullshit. Maybe someone more well-informed can enlighten me.

Well, let's see- it's like the first time in six years that the Republican Stepford Wives in the Senate said "No" to him.

He's only got so much mental ability, the little fella must be bewildered.

I may be alone in my sentiments here, but I feel really bad for him. I listened to his brave speech, saw the depth of the sadness in his almost humanlike face. I am as bewidered as he is, in all honesty.

Dubya has inspired such an atmosphere of trust between the parties, and our representatives in Congress. That they could fail to come together on this issue, is just..., well, its just un-american, and un-patriotic. So what if W and Cheney are profiteering geniuses in the Middle East? So what, that they stacked the Supreme Court full of racist, sexist, christionist, baboons? Who cares that in order to bolster self esteem, they pick on the gays, and anyone else they sense as being in a weaker position than they are? So what, that fear mongering has been honed to a glinty, razor sharp, political tool?

Orange alert, orange alert, People! We really need to quit the bickering in Congress and pass this important "legishlashion". Dubya, honey? Here's a tissue, sweetums. Go powder your nose and have a beer, the end is coming soon.

Every time I see him on television, I think of his poor sweet parents, Cornelius and Zira.

They had such high hopes for him.

It is nice to see him humiliated and watch the division of the Republican party but I'm still pretty sad that we won't be able to see even an attempt at immigration reform for another two years.
