A colleague at work just went through the pacemaker, and is doing terrific, back to a full schedule.

I hope everything goes well. My father in law is 100% dependent on his pacemaker, and he is able to be very active (he's 67). I'm sending positive thoughts your way.
throwing an overflowing handful of pink sparkly dust (that stuff works wonders, you'd be amazed) your way!
Keeping all digits crossed and thinking about you today. The good news is that they are doing so well with treating older patients with these types of procedures.
Healthful vibes coming your way! I am sorry that you all are going through this! Peaceful vibes for maintaining your serenity!
Oh jeez. Much love to you. My Dad worked in the pacemaker industry for YEARS (my family owned a company that distributed pacemakers for a major company), so this heart stuff was dinner-table-talk for my entire life. If you have any questons, I"d be happy to put you in touch with somebody who is very familiar. My best friend also works in this industry.
Pacemakers are amazing. This is scary, but it's the best possible outcome given what happened. A defibb can extend life by decades sometimes.
To put your mind at rest, pacemakers are incredible pieces of reliable equipment. My mother in law, rest her soul, lived ten years beyond her time because of that pacemaker. And we enjoyed every added moment with her!
You, he, and your family are in my prayers..

Keeping you and yours in our very best thoughts. My younger brother had a pacemaker installed (untreated Lyme disease) and is a-okay. Hope your father does as well.
Hoping for the best for your father.

All the best! I lost my dad last September so I know what you mean.
Good thoughts for you, sweetheart. I've been through this scare twice (once with each parent), so I know what you're dealing with right now -- lots of healing energy your way ...
Lots of good thoughts to your dad!
I, too, know several men with pacemakers who have lived long, vigorous lives thanks to them.
