This administration is a farce, and a cover for neocon fascism. I hate these motherfuckers with a passion.

Yes, but I have a total gay-man-on-lesbian crush on Rachel Maddow. (swoon!)

I'd never seen Ms Maddow before, though I listen to her almost every workday. Quite a presence.
Shouldn't she be on tv? Or maybe she is?

It's shit like this that leaves me feeling I'm NOT paranoid, after all.

And that story surprised you? Demonstrator corrals have been around for quite some time, and not hidden from public knowledge, just hidden from the executive. Most of those tactics have probably been used for generations.

What is most disturbing is that it seems that the executive's handlers (I just don't think he deserves the title "president" any more) think it somehow helps the executive to shield him from reality. We know he has made some stupid, really bad decisions, but as long as he is surrounded by the synchophants of the Bushliburton administration, running interference for him, shielding him from reality, feeding him a load of horse shit, he will continue to screw up this country.

Oh, and don't forget, suppression of demonstrators is not purely a Republican tactic. During the 2000 Democratic convention in Los Angeles, demonstrators were confined to a corraled area, behind chain link fences, about a block away from Staples Center, the venue of the convention.

Big politcal machines, doing their utmost to manage every step of the nominating and campaigning process.

All the reason more for the grass roots of America, all of us, no matter our party affilliation to stand up and be heard.

We've always known Bush and his cohorts are asshats. These revelations simply seal the deal. However, they wouldn't sway Bush supporters like my brother, who I love dearly, but who is not in the least concerned about first amendment rights for leftist, pinko liberals, as he so sweetly calls me.

I am, of course, more than disturbed by this administration's continued assault on our constitutional rights. But, when I watch this video, all I can think is that I want Rachel Maddow's lips on any part of my body...don't care where, really. Just put them on me. Please.
