what is this RSS thing?

I hear so much about it. What is it? Does it automatically send blog posts to email? What? What?

I have Yahoo as my home page. I can have anything that has an RSS feed automatically show new posts on the page when I open it. I subscribe to Sister skinny and Crabby McSlacker. If you make a My Yahoo page, which is free, you can add links to sites that have RSS content. The instructions are on the Yahoo page. I hope this helps! I am sure there are other ways to accomplish this, but it is how I do it!

What Holly said.

I can leave up my home page (SBC/Yahoo) and get updated links to my most-visited sites. Anytime there's a new thread or news, I know.

Makes wasting time so much more efficient! (j/k)

Feeburner is good but I like FeedBlitz..they are basically the same.

Yahoo Homepage is good but I find it doesn't always update every feed.

I have the FeedBlitz widget on Sirens..you can click on the email logo next to any of the listed blogs and it will walk you thought it I think..your pretty good at picking things up tech-wise girl :)

since you upgraded blogger- you have a google account. google reader is very easy to use. when you go to a blog, up in the url space there is an orange triangle looking thing. if you click on that- and you are logged into google- it will ask if you want to put it into google reader or whatnot. it's free and easy- and i find myself reading more blogs than i ever did just clicking on the link.
