of paranoia, dissent and my shiny silver hat
I hopped out of bed this morning, donned my little tinfoil hat and my just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you t-shirt and posted over at Sirens Chronicles.

Cool! I hadn't been there before! Great post!
You HAVE hit the problem right at center in MY opinion, Lynette! If this population does NOT rise up and give massive protest, I AM worried that it's all over. You've explained why they won't, and there's other reasons as well, NONE good. I DO worry that even I, at 60, won't get to the end of my life without serious consequences from what our rulers are doing.
I've been tempted to comment..everyone sing now...to the tune of 'Paper Roses'...."Paranoia,paranoia, Oh how lovely paranoia seems.
But it's only, just confusion, or perhaps it was a really scary dream!!
Seriously tho....It must be a very strange time to be an American, especially when you travel abroad.
Brion.
For the longest time, I've hoped that the reason there hasn't been more public outrage and mass mobilization of dissenters is because many are doing it online, in blogs and comments sections of news and media sites.
But I'm coming around to believe that's just another one of my wishful thoughts.
