for willym and laurent
After 29 years of shacking up, Willym and Laurent are getting married July 21. I wonder if it will last? (I kid, of course.) Congratulations are in order for the two of them who are, shortly thereafter, moving to Rome. Such glamorous lives!

dear Lynette - what a lovely surprise. Laurent and I were almost in tears this morning when we saw the post - Reese was crying too but that had more to do with the breakfast sausage than anything else. Thank you.
At the beginning of the ceremony, a simple Unitarian service, we are lighting a candle to represent friends and family who cannot be with us and symbolically include them in this major event in our lives. You and the rest of my blog buddies are in that flame.
How sweet, Willym. I'm glad you all liked these delightful young women singing for you :-)
It sounds like a lovely service and I will be delighted to "be there" in the sense of thinking of the two of you on this great day. Yay!
Choreography has come a loooong way.
I've had that song in my head ever since I booked a chapel last week. I wish William and Laurent happiness.
Deirdre
How wonderful! I wish them all the best in their new life together (giggle). But seriously, how wonderful.
Aww.. further proof to my theory as the self leveling of the universe.
But seriously, where might the darling couple be registered?
doralong, if they're registered, they're registered in rome. sigh. these glamorous boys are moving to rome for who knows how long. willym, laurent and sweet reesie basking in the italian sunshine.
congratulations! best wishes! and great song!
Lynette here I am using your blog to say thank you to people.
Deirdre, David, doralong, chubby hubby thanks for the wishes.
As to registering - well we're thinking of giving the guests at our open house on Sunday door prize - we're trying to get rid of stuff.
Again lynette, you are something else lady!
This was wonderful!
Willym, I was teary-eyed for you after clicking the play button, and then reading your candle comment. I know we don't actually know each other at all, but I am so very happy for you and Laurent. It's just wonderful.
And you do know, don't you, that we are expecting full details. (Will Reese by a ring bearer?)
If Reese is like a friends Dachshund he would probably eat the ring! Seriously Willym, all the best to you and Laurent. I am a fairly new reader on your blog, but I am looking forward to hearing about life in Rome. Once again, all the best!
How sweet of you, Lynette.
Many best wishes to Willym, Laurent and Reese!
